Town of Antrim–Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
April 10, 2017
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman John Robertson in the Little Town Hall.
Members Present: John Robertson, Michael Genest, Robert L. Edwards
Staff Present: Town Administrator Donna Hanson, Road Agent Jim Plourde
Agenda Items:
- Mr. Edwards moved to approve the minutes of March 20, 2017. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0.
- Mr. Genest moved to approve the minutes of March 27, 2017. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
- Mr. Plourde gave an overview of the Highway Department’s summer projects including the repair or replacement of culverts in the Gregg Lake water front area. Gregg Lake Road will be top coated this year. Mr. Robertson made a motion to accept Mr. Plourde’s recommendation to award the paving contract to R & D Paving. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
- Mr. Edwards made a motion to approve seven “All Veterans Tax Credits”. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
- Mr. Edwards gave a summary of the Water & Sewer and Planning Board meeting he attended.
Other Business:
- Mr. Edwards asked if someone from the board should attend the Bennington Planning Board meetings regarding the Dollar General proposed for Rt. 202 in Bennington. It was decided that Selectboard representation was not necessary.
- Ms. Hanson will be attending the Primex conference May 10th and 11th.
After no further business Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn at 8:45 p.m., Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
